How to correctly choose to buy a welding positioner

When designing the electric-drivenpositioner scheme, it is necessary to select the mechanical transmission modeand the corresponding transmission mechanism from the motor to the worktable.Before selection, the following requirements must be specified according to thecharacteristics of the assembly and welding process:

 

-1- Functional requirements for thepositioner: It refers to what actions the positioner should be able to achieve,such as translation, lift or rotation. If it is translation, is it lineartranslation or curve translation; if it is rotary motion, is it continuousrotation or intermittent tilting, etc.;

 

-2- Requirements for movement speed: Itmust be clear whether it is fast or slow, constant speed or variable speed,stepped or continuously variable;

 

-3- Requirements for transmission stabilityand accuracy: The positioner used for automatic welding requires hightransmission accuracy. At this time, worm drive and gear drive can be selected;

 

-4- Requirements for self-locking, overloadprotection, vibration absorption and other capabilities: For safety, the transmissionmechanism must have self-locking ability for general lifting or turning and thetransmission with the danger of tipping. There may be multiple transmissionmodes and their corresponding transmission mechanisms. At this time, theoptimal selection should be made after comprehensive consideration of thetransmission power, compact size, transmission efficiency and manufacturingcost between them;
